Bahar Kural is an award winning photographer and media artist specializing in abstract, architecture, fine art and street photography. Bahar has won a total of 181 International Photography Awards since December 2020 - the date she started entering International Photography Competitions. In addition to her photographic and media art practice, she is a successful real estate developer - with her passion for architecture evident in her artwork. A recurring motif, is the utilization of the built environment, combined with robust colors, to explore ideas around self-identity, and the human condition more generally. Bahar is a native of Istanbul, and lives and works in New York with her two children. She is a graduate of Swarthmore College and Columbia Business School.
